Shipping policy for Shopify online gift shop 

  1. Order processing times.

·       Orders placed after midday will be processed the next working day.

·       We aim to process orders within 24- 36 hours of receipt.

  1. Domestic and international shipping options.

·       We ship worldwide from the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Gweek, Cornwall, UK.

Please note: Due to EU Regulation requirements, we are currently unable to ship orders to countries within Europe.

Alcohol Restrictions
Alcohol products can only be shipped within the UK due to licensing and age restriction laws.

  1. Shipping costs.

UK Delivery
We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 for all UK orders.
Cost: £5.00

International Delivery (excluding Europe)
We ship internationally using Royal Mail services.

International Economy
Delivery times vary by destination and can take up to:

  • 6 weeks for North America
  • 8 weeks for South America, Africa and Asia
  • 12 weeks for Australia and New Zealand

International Tracked & Signed
Delivery times vary by destination but typically take:

  • 5–7 working days worldwide

If you have any questions about shipping to your country, please contact us before placing your order.

International Tracked: Delivery aim of 3–4 days for items up to 2 kg. 

International Tracked & Signed Heavier: Delivery aim of 3–5 days for items up to 20 kg. 

International Signed: Delivery aim of 3–5 days for items up to 2 kg, with tracking within the UK and a signature on delivery. 

International Standard: Delivery aim of 3–5 days for items up to 2 kg. 

Royal Mail's delivery times are not guaranteed for every shipment, and can be affected by customs processing, local postal services, and other delays. For more reliable delivery, you can consider using tracked or signed services.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

All orders shipped from the UK to the US may be subject to customs duties, tariffs, import taxes, or other fees upon arrival in the United States.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost at checkout.

The customer is fully responsible for payment of any applicable import duties, tariffs, taxes, or fees imposed by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or other relevant authorities.

  1. Local delivery options.

·       For local pick up email seals@sealifetrust.com as soon as the order is placed with O/N to request pick up.

  1. Returns, changes, and cancellations.

  1. Potential service interruptions.

Packages may be delayed due to reasons beyond our control such as staff shortages, IT issues, Busy trading periods ie; Christmas and peak seasons.

If there are anomalies in address details or contact information this could potentially delay processing times. 

  1. Order tracking details.

An order confirmation email will be sent to the customer once the order has been processed.

Depending on the delivery option selected, shipping progress will be communicated by the delivery provider Shop Pay/Royal Mail.
